The Mikisyo POWER GRIP set covers the core cuts in wood carving — straight paring, shallow sweeps, deep curves, V-grooves, and skew work — in a single package. Seven tools, each hand-sharpened at the factory.

The handles are short and wide by design. That shape puts more of your hand in contact with the tool, which gives you better control on detail work without having to white-knuckle the grip. It takes a little getting used to if you're coming from longer Western chisels, but most carvers find it clicks quickly.
